That's right, folks. What usually determines a site's success is its community or the length of its run time; but not this time, folks. It doesn't matter how slow we go, so long as we don't stop. We're gonna see a site plot through to the end – and it'll be a lot easier than you think. If you've never heard of Seventh Dragon, no need to fret! Because this will be the first stat-based RP I've run in... well, literally in years, I'd like to get a shot at testing it out and ironing out any potential kinks before this site launches for real. This'll also give any staff who may join me a chance to familiarize themselves with the systems that'll be implemented on the site. Rather than get started on the plot, however, before advertising in full and having people miss out, I'd like to do something a little weird: set the beta eighty years earlier in 2020, the first (… er, technically second, but shhhhh, we'll bend the plot a bit for simplicity's sake) time the people of Japan had to face off against a True Dragon – and all the bad stuff that came with it – and the time in which one of the only two True Dragons already in “The Dragon Chronicle” at the time of 2103 was taken down by the first group of young rookie dragon hunters. It'll be the same basic setup for this reason – only with a different name, a different (and smaller) target, a shorter frame of time, and, surprise, surprise! character classes only available through the beta that can be carried over to the full site once the Beta is through. (You'll know when it happens.) Levels, money, and relationships can all carry over; a thank you to all who helped us get our junk together before we really open the floodgates.
