[attr="class","frieeda3"]■ Her family was split in two during the initial waves of the Demon Tide, her sister Lorelei taken off by their mother and her, herself, tagging along with her father, but early on in the mayhem, all four had decided to make for the nearest safe haven regardless of how broken their party was. Her mother and sister never arrived at their first place of residence, and her father perished when the poor defenses of the city fell to the demons. It's some precious wonder how she managed to make it to Sanctum alone, and it's even more so a wonder why she hasn't given up on the possibility of her mother and sister still being alive out there.

■ Frieda's fascination with “anything that goes boom” lead her to learn how to create all of the lovely explosives she has in her arsenal now. Before the Demon Tide, her specialty lied mostly in creating home-made fireworks (the Marlenes then becoming known for their fantastic firework displays on the Fourth of July, the same holiday that she has celebrated with just as much as a fervor since), but since things took a more survival-based turn and she, as a human girl, found herself at an incredibly disadvantage, she turned, instead, to create everything for time bombs to grenades. By the time she found herself in Sanctum, she'd amassed such a little collection of demolitions, as well as the materials required to use them, that the rebels quickly took to calling her the demolitions expert. Young or no, she knows how to build a bomb and throw it in your face.

■ Frie's got a thing for sweets. Bring her anything just oozing with sugar, and she'll love you forever.

■ She's got a terrible sense of direction. Just. Awful. She'll end up in a clothing store looking for ice cream and hide her face in the clothing racks so no one sees how embarrassed she is. She'll never accept help if you offer it, though. Doesn't like to admit she's lost, either. If you tell her where to go, or forcefully lead her someplace, she'll comply, both otherwise, she's not gonna listen to a word you say about the matter.

■ Frieda and animals don't mesh well, especially when it comes to dogs. She was bit by one with rabies as a small child, and that event – as well as a lot of what followed – have been especially traumatic. She's actually a rather cowardly person in general, but large dogs at a near vicinity especially can make her bawl like a baby. Other things, like cats or rabbits, make her weary as well. They tend to pick up on it, too, and treat her rather harshly as a result.
